BENGALURU (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Reserve is done raising interest rates until at least the end of next year, according to economists in a Reuters poll who gave a 40 percent chance of at least one rate cut by end-2020. 2020 looks to be a year of stability for interest rates, with fewer economic risks and low inflation giving the Federal Reserve little reason to shift the fed funds rate. The odds are 67% that the federal funds rate will be down by 75 bps by March 18th. The interest rate targeted by the Federal Reserve, the range of the federal funds rate, is currently 1.0% to 1.25%.
